When you are first starting out with this product, go slow. Like, super slow. Only 1-2 drops once per day. Pat into your skin and let the oil completely absorb before applying a moisturizer. Typically, the rule of thumb is to apply a Facial Oil after moisturizing. most other facial oils are considered "occlusive". Meaning they block other products from getting into your skin if you apply them afterwards. But with this oil, because it contains the active essential oils Helichrysum Italicum and Frankincense Sacra, you want to apply before moisturizing so you get the “goody” out of it, and the carrier oils I chose are not occlusive. You just have to wait a few minutes before moving on to your next step. At first, it might seem like it takes forever for the oil to absorb. Over time, your skin will adjust and readily take it in. You can then start to increase the amount you use if you’d like. If you want it to absorb faster, apply the oil to damp skin or immediately after any hydrating serums, such as our Vitamin C serum or our Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Don’t wait for that first serum step to dry. Go in right away- WAM BAM! Serum, Oil.
